The Armour of God

EphesiansSpiritual WarfarePaul

Be strong in the Lord

In Ephesians 6:10-18 Paul calls believers to put on the whole armour of God. The battle is real, but the strength is the Lord's — and every piece is defensive or rooted in truth and prayer.

The pieces

  • The girdle of truth

  • The breastplate of righteousness

  • Feet shod with the gospel of peace

  • The shield of faith — to quench the fiery darts

  • The helmet of salvation

  • The sword of the Spirit — the word of God

  • Praying always in the Spirit

Application

Which piece of armour have you neglected? Begin the day by deliberately “putting on” truth, righteousness and faith — and pray.
